Other folks on SI once thought they were geniuses too. When does the left wing bubble crash and burn. On another thread someone mentioned that they received a survey from moveon.org on whether they should purge the party of moderate dems like lieberman and bayh et al. And on still another thread someone posted an article from Hanson about being a conservative democrat in the Scoop Jackson model. If the dems choose to blow up the party perhaps some of us who are conservative dems should think and who are uncomfortable with the guys in power should start thinking third party for real. No way for Scoop to take back the dems who are mired in Buchanan like isolationsism and fantasy world social and economic policies.
