You just proved my point.

Whacked out lefty sources like that report that McCarthy was part of the HOUSE Un-American Activities Committee. But there's only one problem: McCarthy was never a member of the House. Never. He was a Wisconsin judge, then a Senator.

The historical fact shows that HUAC and its blacklists were not McCarthy's. McCarthy chaired a senate committee investigating domestic communism and espionage. The HUAC was convened before McCarthy entered politics. McCarthy was never on HUAC. HUAC contained members of the House, not the Senate. McCarthy's committee, formed several years later, contained members of the Senate, not the House.
