you are a venture capitalist working for microsoft? That must be interesting. I'll bet msft is spending all this effort watching google, but really, they could probably set up a hosted apps business and make a dent in salesforce.com, oracle and sap with a lot less effort. I don't think google even wants the hosted app business but the concerted efforts of the mainline apps players in the hosted area are so bad, the customer base is begging for it.
