But it's fascinating. How do you get to that point? And what do you do about people who get there? Do we have to write them off forever? Are they immune to the logic of other positions? While I don't agree with the interdiction and criminalization model, I at least understand the logic of the position- I just don't happen to think in a free country you can make it work (even in totalitarian country it doesn't work 100%, but it can work a little better than here). Is our only recourse to go after the folks who are not committed yet to any particular belief system? I'm wondering if there are enough of those folks around to create a base that would last.
