here's the story on INFO pump job... just another case of scamsters touting a penny (only spouting trumped up positives and never mentioned numerous negatives)
February 17, 2006 TheStockster.com’s Latest Promotion in MetroOne Telecom MetroOne Telecommunications (Nasdaq: INFO), a developer and provider of enhanced telecom services, is being heavily touted by TheStockster.com. The website lists the company today as “the mega buy of 2006.” TheStockster.com also briefly lists that it owns shares in the company, but gives no other details as to when or how many shares were purchased. While the site stresses MetroOne’s good cash position, it fails to mention that the company has negative cash flow and continually loses money. Though MetroOne just recently settled with Nextel in regards to its dispute with its terminated contract and is expected to receive a $5.75 million payment, it will lose a good amount of future revenue because it will no longer provide services to Nextel after March 31. Furthermore, the company received a Nasdaq Staff Deficiency Letter indicating that it is not in compliance with the $1.00 minimum closing bid and is danger of being delisted. Investors have to look at the stock price of MetroOne today, which is up $.41, or 124%, to $.74, and ask, is the move justified? posted by Ant & Sons at 12:59 PM 0 comments |
