The Dems have been out of touch. Until someone takes them screaming and yelling on a course to the right, they will continue to lose. On the contrary, I think it is their timid, half-move to the right which has cost them their party identity, as well as the respect of Progressives and Moderates who would like to actually have a choice at the ballot box. And with all due respect for you, sir, I would also question advice to hens coming from the foxes. I might also point out that Lieberman is no more a Dem than is Hanson. Part of the incredibly effective GOP political strategy has been having Dems In Name Only consistently pop up as Congresscritters, journalists, etc. This allows the GOP to further dilute the already weak Dem brand. (See the Cuellar kerfluffle for more of the same.) As proof of this, can anyone here think of a GOP equivalent for Lieberman or Cuellar? Or for that matter, Hanson?
