You're absolutely right Ron. I've been using a Toshiba high end for 4 years. I did have reservations about it but got used to it.

I'm one of those people that likes to multi-task and have my office with me as I travel LOL. Half the screen will be a quote matrix and the other my message boards or financial news.

I've yet to need glasses but I can that I need to take your warning seriously or at least start taking hourly breaks "for the eyes."

It's clearly NOT for everyone but so far it works for me. I figured that a 17 screen would actually be an improvement for me as my Toshiba is 15.2"
