>>Get Liquid<<

I always maintain liquidity.

>>Pay off your house<<

I've paid off three homes already, over 20 years ago because I'm a saver and entrepreneur, who generates cash, not debt, in my business.

>>Eliminate all credit cards<<

Why should I do that? I pay everything I can by credit card. Chase Rewards gives me 1%-2% back on my purchases. I always pay my bill in full each month.

>>Cash in all securities<<

Why should I do that? I'm not a big fan of Taxes. I like Tax cuts better. Hedging is certainly a better alternative for me. I've recently taken a combined modest net short position here in the S@P 400 Midcap and Russell 2000. I plan on increasing my short position by Wednesday.

>>you may be the only one in the neighborhood safe and sound financially<<

You really need to move outside of your inner circle.

I'm not forecasting a major decline here like I did in March 2000, when I hit it exactly on the nose:

I'm just expecting a mild cyclical bear between now and October 2006. No more than a 15%-20% decline. It may only be 10%.

Anyway, I need complacent guys like you to profit. So, please keep on singing the same tune.
