Meta,

I have been using Scottrade and purchasing the Canadian shares. Scott will purchase them for you only with a direct broker order over the phone. The purchase and sale are $27 each. I only purchase this way if I am going to hold and not trade through the volatility. The pinks for these companies are traded rather thin so it makes the sales a bit longer to fill.

As the hordes look for parking places for dollars, these thinly traded pinks will become much easier to trade. The pink equities are listings for those firms but are subject to naked shorting by the mm's. I have watched them closely and they are moved around a lot more than the main listing on Canadian exchanges.

I also like the Canadian Trusts. Have you looked into them?
