I can understand that you don't believe the job numbers. However what about tax collections? That is paid in taxes on earned income. It is skyrocketing. Sure some of it is executive bonuses but it is continuing into February.

Something else is going on. Unemployment claims are also very low. The labor market appears tight and wage increases are taking off.

I agree that housing has the ability to take everything apart and it is the main thing to watch.
