Of course Cheney was responsible you nut case. That is not at issue, and we didn't need Cheney to accept the blame. He who pulls the trigger is responsible, period. What we are talking about here is that before Cheney accepted the blame for what happened, the White House, ie White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan, put the blame on Whittington. All this happened in the void between the shooting and Cheney's statement...several days later when he spoke to Hume on Fox. The spin was that Cheney did everything right. You and O'Reilly need to get your timelines straight. First there was a lot of spin...then days later the truth began to seep in. We still have not heard the entire truth on this matter...and we won't. The truth was that Cheney was at fault...100% at fault. The truth was that he was drinking beer too. How many lies were told about that? Even Whittington lied about that. Cheney admitted to drinking, and made liars out of all the spinners. Bottom line...Cheney is 100% responsible for the injury to Whittington. No if's and's or but's. Orca
