Silver producers that I like:

IPT.V: probably the most undervalued silver play in the markets right now, and they are currently producing ore with average grades of several thousand grams per ton silver from their Compadres Mine, and average run of mill ore is about 500 g/t.

FR.V: This company has several major exploration programs underway at 3 properties with a total of 5 drills in operation now, and 2 more in a couple of months. They have current production from 2 mines and will very likely report production growth doubling about every 6 months.

ECU.V: They have a lot of shares outstanding and some cheap paper from recent financings, but that does not seem to be putting the brakes on the stock. The company just embarked on a major drilling program to define a large high grade skarn system at depth in their mines, but they already have enough high grade ore to run at full capacity for more than 10 years.

I own all three of the above...

For companies that I do not own, I would suggest you have a look at EXN.V, as they have probably the largest carbonate replacement ore deposit in the world at their Platosa property and the grades are very high, but they are weak on the operations side with no proprietary milling facility, and they have a ton of shares outstanding. I also like GGC.V, as they have strong upside exploration potential, current high grade production, and they are profitable.

Soon to be producers (within 1 year):

CS.T: well defined vein structure on their 90% owned Cozamin project, with a modern mill and recovery plant on site, and excellent infrastructure in place.

SPM.V: same as the above, but they are also sitting on a much bigger property that could host several large deposits, along with a proven resource already defined that will likely surpass 2 million tons when the upcoming resource estimate is released, enough to keep the mine running at capacity for several years.

I own both of the above.

cheers!
