Cannot argue with your points, keep posting. We shall see, it makes this all the more interesting. This market is levitated, no doubt about that - as it has been for much longer than 2 years! Forget the overall market, plenty of down and up opportunities exist. Maybe the market has not seen a 2% down day but plenty of stocks getting slaughtered on earnings. My father taught me, "son you cannot fight the system - learn to flow and live with it, if you fight it - it will kill you." Teach your son the same, it is very important. He also taught me "live simple and do not be a consumer or try to impress others - be free by living simple without too much crap to cluture up your space or thoughts. A free man is a man with nothing. Happiness is an attitude of less." It is the biggest problem with our society, with 60% now obese. West
