the best way to do that is for all the Dems to get together and decide who they are and what they stand for What the Dems need is a clean sweep of their leadership. Dean, Reid, and Pelosi are knee-jerk reactionaries of the old Tammany school. They are againsters. And the Dems need to recognize why they aren't connecting with voters. I heard a guy on the radio say they're having trouble "getting their message out." Excuse me? They have the media in their pocket and they can't form a coherent message? It's the message that's the problem! Someone on this board said the other day that the Dems need another McGovern. He was a decent and honorable man, (I volunteered for him when I was 16) but a little naive. I think Victor Davis Hanson was right when he said the Dems need another Truman or JFK.
