A friend was knocked down by a stallion that proceeded to crash down on her with his front knees. She was fortunate her son who was a marine was present. His accurate use of a whip distracted the stallion after about the third strike on his testicles.

She had several broken ribs.

The owner of the horse would not allow it to be euthanized, but did have it gelded.
