If someone said Stalin killed 1 billion people with his bear hands, and I argued against that idea, someone might attack me for "defending Stalin". I do think that people have maid unsubstantiated claims about Cheney. I also wouldn't give him the boot right now. I'm not sure either of those amounts to defending Cheney and if they do amount to that I don't think it is an unreasonable defense. Tim
