ORLEANS, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 20, 2006) - Patrician Diamonds Inc. ("Patrician") (TSX VENTURE:TXC - News) announced today that they received final approval of the TSX-Venture Exchange, and has closed its private placement. The placement consisted of 2,550,000 flow through units at Cdn$0.08 per unit, each unit comprised of one flow through share and one common share purchase warrant, exercisable at $0.15 to 31 January 2008. The placement also consisted of 450,000 units at Cdn$0.08 per unit, each unit being comprised of one common share and one common share purchase warrant exercisable at Cdn$0.15 to 31 January 2008.

The proceeds are to be used to finance exploration on the company's Sahtu, NWT property.

Robin Dow, CEO purchased 437,500 units; John McNeice, CFO purchased 200,000 units. Both are considered insiders.
