Matalin disgraced herself on Meet The Press. Using the word "jihad" to attack the press for simply wanting straight answers about the VP blasting some guy in the face is outrageous. The VP works for the people, and when he blasts someone in the face with a shotgun, we have a right to know ALL about it. And if we don't like what we hear, we have the right to FIRE him. Of course congress is supposed to do with will of the People, but under Delay/Hastert/Boner they have been refusing to. But that will soon change.

Using the ord "jihad" also exposes a big phony trick the Bushies always use. Every time they're caught lying or doing something immoral, they try to change the subject to 9-11, figuring that since terrorism is the only issue people give Bush 50% support on, it's the only issue they want to discuss, even as it regards the VP shooting a guy in the face.
