I have changed my mind about the need to impeach cheney before impeaching junior. If the democrats regain the house they should allow cheney to remain as president and impeach junior. Cheney would be the lamest lame duck in history whereas if cheney was impeached and junior got to pick another vice president before getting impeached himself that person would spend the two or three years campaigning and have a leg up in the next presidential election.

Also if cheney got impeached and junior name brother jeb (for example) as VP and there were less than 2 years left when junior got impeached jeb would be eligible to be president for 8 years plus the amount of time he spent as junior's replacement. If more than 2 years remained he could only be elected once. Either way the country would be better off with cheney as president since he is so reviled by almost everyone that congress would have no qualms in stifling everything he tried to do. They would also take some of the power back which junior has grabbed back and get back to their job as overseers.

Best possible scenario, retake house and senate, impeach junior, remove him from office, try him and put him in prison. Impeach cheney, leave him in office. Try him after he leaves office. Icing on the cake, impeach the new VP and leave him in office and send all of the people who have committed crimes in the bush administration to prison. I can dream can't I?
