Goldcorp would be in a good positon to execute this take strategy, their under $ 80 production cost leaves plenty of spare cash and gold to lend out.

BHP, Rio Tinto, and possibly some of the oil compnaies with gold interest might be dong this.

In between, expect a financial entity, like Goldman, AIG, Nomura, or one the Swiss banks.

Interesting that Rio Tinto has spend the last two years selling some of thier lower grade properties.
