Well, remember we are a capitalistic society, meaning private enterprise controls most entities. Apparently the profit motive in Port security is not large enough to encourage American Companies to assume that responsibility, although I am sure you realize, whomever the company is it is generally American employees on the docks. Seems to me this can all be worked out if we have some kind of RELIABLE oversight. Something we probably dont even have today. jdn
