Did Brit have any comments on the idea that Russia helped Saddam get the WMD out? I just looked on Fox and there is nothing there as yet....

Brit emphasized that the tapes made clear the biologicals were still being worked on.

He handed off to Bret Baer the Pentagon Journalist for Fox who did the rest of the story. They quoted Tierney that it gives new info that Saddam was still working on WMD and avoiding UNSCOM.

"Warheads were removed from missiles on cattle trucks and emphasis (in the tapes) on reconstituting programs." Tierney emphasized

Bret Baer then quoted various sections from the tapes:

One tape quoted that they were "looking for help from the French and Russians on Biologicals".

It also quoted the comment from Aziz that the attacks will "be done by others". "It would be easy to put biologicals in a water tank."

It ended with what Bret Baer said was the most shocking revelations by some "that Saddam was working with a Plasma Nuclear Project" that IAED thought had been disbanded a decade earlier.

I know he didn't break any new ground compared to the readings we had. He also didn't explicitly mention the part about Russian Spetznatz helping to take the stuff to Syria except for the part about Russians helping with biologicals and the part about taking the chemical warheads off the missiles before destroying them for UNSCOM.
