On a different topic, what is your reaction to the Brit prof to be jailed in Austria? I've not read much about it other than the AP report last night. But it is interesting in Europe given the Danish/Muslim free speech issue.

I'm very pro free speech, but having lived in other cultures, I also understand that speech can mean very different things. It's kind of like in the USA you sometimes deal with people that strike sizeable deals on handshakes (and honor them) where with others you need lawyers in triplicate to comb through any contract. In the USA we are so use to loud mouths (think of the various political entertainers of either stripe) that we ignore the fact that others might take such things seriously.

The problem for Muslims, IMO, is that they want it both ways. They are bellicous in the extreme in many of their own comments, yet take great offense when others are. Thats a problem.
