Cheney never changed his story.

I'm not so sure about that. Whittington said straight out that no alcohol was involved. Then Armstrong said first that no alcohol was involved...then later qualified that maybe there were a few beers in there. If there are conflicting testimony from all the parties, then how can we be sure that it was only one beer? We can't.

Do you really think the SS would allow Cheney to run around tanked up with a gun?

What do you think that the SS is, Cheney's mother? LOL, The SS used to deliver the chicks in the back door for JFK. Do you think that they had them tested for STD's? Any good mother would have done that!

What else besides impairment explains the fact that Cheney swung his gun through 180 degrees to shoot Whittington? He was behind him, and apparently somewhat below as well as he was reportedly walking through a swale, which means that Cheney's barrel was below horizontal when he pulled the trigger and firing into an area which he had no idea what was there. It leads me to believe that he was impaired. If not temporarily due to alcohol, perhaps permanently due to brain malfunction.

If the SS had any idea that Cheney would be handling a gun like that they would have likely been hiding in the bullet proof vans! That's where I would be observing the hunt from!
