Hi...Jerome,
Your explanation of DMT vs DWMT is correct as I understand it. I think
that the differences will be moot if:

1. ANSI does not standardize on DWMT.
2. AMTX/NEC can back up their claim of 60Mbps up to 6000 feet as claimed
in their press release.

If each of the above happen, I like NEC's chances of being able to bring
chips to market both quick and cheap. In this scenario, price will mean
more than modulation schemes etc.

This is but one reason why I like AMTX so much. IMO they have aligned
themselves with the two heavyiest hitters in the
communication/semiconductor business.
