Without assays you could consider it a non event release but I don't see it that way. The previous drilling , under a known resource identified a specific mineral carrying rock. Today the company announced it has encountered that specific assemblage in 2 of 3 holes and yet another rock type indicative of and related to the known gold carrying breccia.
So, is this cheap promotion by visuals? Or is it a confident declaration of undeniable success? As a shareholder, and biased interpreter, I lean toward the visual confirmation of the geological model. If true, the implications are substantial. The area drilled is big enough and the previous intercepts wide enough that this round of drilling demonstrates significant tonnage potential. Will further drill expand upon it? I would say the likelihood is yes. That means a significant Carlin trend deposit is emerging, that has big implications. Until assays indicate otherwise, that is how I am viewing this current Cat O nine tails! Meow!
I had mixed results today some strong rises but generally weak to neutral, Gyd, Bcm, Cat big gainers, aun, guy,dje,ckg,tk, cbp down, lrr down after big jump yesterday, soh, goz, nau all flat, yzc barely up. Guess it is all about drills and at the very least holding the POG.
