That's your theory. I'm a capitalist and my theory is quite different. In fact, quite the opposite. People don't work only for money and in fact, money is merely a scoreboard. People work for identity. If people get greater rewards for working more/faster/harder then they will do so, but don't leap to the conclusion that the reward is necessarily money. Usually, the best person for a job is the one you have to pay the least. That's why for a couple of decades I've been saying women in China would be the best employees.
It seemed crazy to me to pay BP Oil's German R&D people 65 pounds an hour [in 1987] when I could hire a fleet of much smarter Chinese women for a fraction of that. QUALCOMM is now hiring Indians flat out to do R&D work.
Libertarianism doesn't misunderstand human nature. What aspect of human nature do you think is misunderstood by libertarians? Which isn't to say that most humans like the idea of libertarianism, freedom, self-determination and all that jazz. Libertarians don't claim people do. Obviously, we can all see that most people don't subscribe to such ideas.
But 'human nature' doesn't mean people are intrinsicly bandits. Do you compulsively steal? Well, you obviously do, since you are in favour of what you say you are [using other people to steal OPM for you, not soiling your hands yourself]. But because you are a robber doesn't mean everyone is.

Quite right. That's why there are fraud charges, damages charges, and gaols and execution as part of my great capitalist plan. Wantonly kill people and it's the noose! Or, preferably, a lifetime of working under duress to repay as much as possible.
Capitalism doesn't mean criminality. Where on Earth did you get such an idea?
