Yamana adopts Desert Sun. Whoa! <<Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI)(AMEX:AUY)(LSE (AIM):YAU) announces the acquisition of Desert Sun Mining (TSX:DSM)(AMEX:DEZ). A conference call and audio webcast is scheduled for today at 10:00 a.m. E.S.T.>> DEZ shareholders to recieve .6 of AUY for each share owned That webcast ought to be damned interesting for folks invested in one or (whoo!) both of them. Called in my 7.50 KGC shares today at options expiry - just in time for the soggy news about KGC's hassles. Still, I'll hold since they have reserves and plans. Takes a year to get away from the tax firing squad anyway.
