Oh hell no! The people are bitching and complaining that the government is telling people if they want to move back into the same neighborhood, they'll have to raise the level of the property and get flood insurance. They're screaming this is just the white man trying to displace the poor blacks.

Well, I thought Katrina displaced everyone over there not just the "poor blacks". The limit per house to rebuilt or repair is set at 150,000.00 each. Do these "poor blacks" care a hoot about folks that had houses that cost more then that and can't afford to replace them BUT they still have to pay a morgage on a house that is no more? Hell no, they don't care a bit. They don't care because a large percentage of those "poor blacks" lived in goverment housing! They have no house note to still make while looking for another place to live AND get a job as well.

I'm just sick of the whole thing.
