It is interesting that the Russians want nothing to do with the MOX program. In thier view (which I agree) they can use the Thorium Power fuel rod design and burn thier plutonium to create power....Why would you retrofit a reactor to burn the MOX fuel to destroy plutonium at 1/4 the rate that the Thorium Fuel rod design will do with less waste and less by product....DD
