Some business with political overtones is acceptable, some is not- and the degree to which things are unacceptable will differ from person to person and country to country. But business and politics are hopelessly tangled up.

Governments have to stay agnostic as far as business is concerned. The only role government should have is to insure that everybody plays by the rules and there is no criminal activity going on.

Communist governments like formerly in the Soviet Union and now in China try to get involved in the business of business, It doesn't work.

You can keep the mafia and terrorists out of business but when you start with things like keeping Arabs out..... Where does it end.
