I agree with what you are saying, and I also agree that if the US doesn't watch out it will just get bypassed. Perhaps the EU is even more at risk.

Look at those 20% tariffs they just put on shoes for example.
We are not just outsourcing manufacturing we are outsourcing services. What allows that is the internet which I mentioned.

Yes, the world economy is becoming less US-centric and more world centric but remember the global economy was not alwsys US centric either. At one time it was UK centric.

Now everything is increasingly global and the US is not prepared for the ramifications of that: lower wages and increased competition on about everything.

Those lower wages are going to be a huge lifestyle problem for the US "Have it now" borrow and spend society.
