The Mazak is a high-volume production machine of known quality, period. If you have one, you can do more work than the guy next door who doesn't. On a plant tour by Ford, GM or other firms' production engineers, it's presence would be recognized as a positive. Do a Google on the name and model number and you will see the basis for my opinions. IMHO, it would support doing complex tasks in an efficient manner and increase through-put for the company. It would also be a revenue-improvement related addition to their collection of assets. Whether or not it would eventually be equipped with LACC is an Ed and Marc decision; and queries about that should be put to them via Rhonda. John :-) .
