Tito,

News from the Washington Post.

Yesterday Intel Corp unveiled a new type of computer memory chip that holds twice as much data as conventional ones. The technology will be a boon for such devices as cellular phones, digital cameras and hand held organizers making then easier to use.

The company said the chip shatters Moore's law, that a chip data capacity will double every 18 months. By intel's count the new technique cuts that time in half. Moore, you will remember, was the founder if Intel.

International Business Strategies , a counciling company in silicon valley said: "We think other companies will have to follow with similar innovations.

I think this is good for AMAT. New chip making equiptment will have to be bought from the leader.

Best regards,

Lester E.
