Believe me, that is Japanese. That is what they call "Katakana Japanese" and the name is thus written in phonetic "Katakana" on the side of the box in green and white.

Why superior in spite of not being kosher certified? You can pull it in big sheets by one hand and it still stays flat in stead of clinging around your hand because of static.
A must for the Japanese chefs.

So, don't go to Japanese restaurants, they use non kosher wrap!

(kore kara... from now on (in Japanese) and while having read this, no doubt your rabbis will launch a nation wide attack on Japanese restaurants for the purpose of getting their "rappu" certified)
