No, I have no idea what ought to be done at this point with respect to the insurgency. I suspect that things are a lot better than are reported, and this may account for the increased ferocity of the attacks and today's attack on a high value, highly symbolic Shia shrines. It's a tough situation, but withdrawal at this point would only fan the fires os Islamic fanaticism.
