Fire this guy. The fact is, insurance agents do not like to sell umbrella policies and avoid it like the plague. But I'd seriously question the integrity or knowledge of an agent that tells you you don't need it. That's self-serving to him not you.

It has nothing to do with being terribly negligent, but purely about how serious the accident is and your networth.
