things that was done so long ago are easy to forgive (not forget) because most of the Swedes are of different generation now.

But the scandal happened just few years ago and Swedish corporations (unfortunately not the people who worked in them) ended up in court.

Not only Swedes tried to sweep it under the rug but they also continued the crimes against Jews up until the story got to press all over the world.

as you see, I hope, the difference is that it was not done by somebody long time ago but by largest and most prestiges Swedish corporations just a few years back.
The sad thing is that, while not as outrages as story that broke few years back, Swedes still hold assets that belonged to victims of war.

BTW if that was not on front pages of all Swedish papers for a year or so I would be ashamed to be Swede
