09:29 AMD Advanced Micro: AMD is in at Lenovo -- eWeek (40.80 ) -Update- Advanced Micro Devices' Athlon 64 and Sempron processors. The PC maker will unveil the new machine, which will be part of its Lenovo 3000 line of PCs for small businesses, at an event in New York City on Thursday, industry sources tell me. The Lenovo 3000 machines will sell for lower prices and offer a different look than Lenovo's Think-brand products, such as the ThinkCentre desktop. The arrival of the new Lenovo-brand line will mean quite a lot to both Lenovo and AMD.
