Coherent Opens New World Headquarters

ASHBURN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 18, 1997--Coherent Communications Systems Corporation (NASDAQ:CCSC) announced today the opening of its new world headquarters in Ashburn, Virginia, USA. The new, 73,000 square foot building is located just minutes away from Coherent's previous headquarters. With 400% more laboratory space and the capacity to house over 400 employees, Coherent's new world headquarters is a clear reflection of the Company's dynamic growth and market presence.
The three-story building currently houses the sales, marketing, engineering and administrative departments and will enable the Company to expand its operations in the coming years, in line with growth projections. Daniel L.
