First we backed the Shiites, and then we backed the Sunnis. Which might even explain the bombing, the Sunnis figure if we are backing them, they can do something really provocative. Given our response, the Sunnis may be figuring they can't trust us. Making us a target by both sides.

I guess we are planning on hiding out in those big bases we've been quietly building in Iraq. I personally don't think that is very stable, but...
