yeah, this could easily spiral out of control. Whose side are we on in the civil war? Has Bush decided that yet? Or do we just get out of the way?

I think we are between a rock and a hard place. Certainly, the Sunnis are probably more attractive to Bush with Iran right next door. However, the country has a majority of Shia. The hole keeps getting deeper and no one is willing to pull the plug.
