(Pro, I'll leave the question of 'true Gods' and 'false Gods' up for definitive resolution in the hereafter. As Mark Twain famously said once: "There are at least a hundred thousand different 'jim-crack' religions in the world. Each and everyone of them claim that they, and they alone, have the 'one true way to Heaven'." He went on to observe that "They can't ALL be right....")

So, that aside, my focus was on the CIVIL WAR in Iraq. The physical and political realities on the ground, and how they impact our national interests.

As far as your contention that "Catholic 'civilians' [whatever that is...] would not slit throats if Saint Peters was blow up..." I'll mark that down for the 'naive and unproven' category.
