With orders falling quickly at homebuilders and prices beginning to fall, what frequently updated national statistics are available to track the ebbing liquidity flows?

We're expecting a fairly sharp reduction in sales volumes on new and existing homes, but shouldn't that be reflected in this data?

So many of the real estate stats are released only quarterly - can you suggest other good data to track?
