you said family, so I assume school age kids. I'm not sure what system San Elio is in but I thinks its the Escondido school system which is generally well below par. School systems very HUGELY around here, even one town to the next, so if you have kids I might go on the internet to find out the schools you want THEN pick a community. Rancho Santa Fe is certianly one of the best if not the best. If they are going to private schools then you obviously can disregard this. If you dont have kids, what does the good "family" comment really mean?
