S.G. - Sundays Obligations.... And ED Rochelle if you have a minute!

Thanks for your faith and inspiration, rev.

I wonder if reading the Amati thread satisfies one's Sunday obligation?)

I'm not always right, and there is no religion involved.

I rarely make bold statements that are not based on the technical aspects of the of ADSL, except when it comes to the Patent/License issues, where I have always stated that ANSI Standard Compliance = Amati/Stanford Patents.

I believe you showed up on SI, one year and 3 months after this thread had it's beginning.

I debated people early in 96 who said ADSL was a speculative technology, Amati a speculative company.

I have also debated the issue of DMT Line Code superiority, more ways than I care to think about. It wasn't bad debating the merits with the participants of the thread, until they began quoting the lies and misinformation campaigns of AT&T and Paradyne. To which I could only rely upon my own technical knowledge, and show line by line, where the misinformation campaign was obviously full of you know what.

Here it is Sept. 1997, I believe most now understand that DMT is far superior to CAP in the ADSL Arena.

Now it appears it begins anew with the onslaught of the CAP/QAM VDSL Campaign, and here again I am willing to go to bat once again for the DMT home team on the basis of technical superiority.

Care to start this debate off, under cordial, yet offensive and defensive terms? I'm loaded for Bear!

(Note to ED, I usually don't ask, but since you were here back in early 96 and have seen this thread through its 25 thousand posts, your evaluation on my track record, would be appreciated, good or bad.)

Steve, I have faith in my convictions, but religion does not play a part.
