I'm not sure what I expected ... I got hit from behind, no frontal injuries, never saw it coming. Pics of it are around here somewhere. My ass looked like Armageddon. From the front, I looked my usual charmingly, irresistable self, of course. Not much to expect in that situation.
But I sure didn't expect a $10k differential between driver's insurance taking care of the pedestrian they hit (in the crosswalk, with the light, to which State Farm actually agrees --- neither of us dispute those facts --- they say I threw myself into the crosswalk into her vehicle, at noon, walking to Safeway for lunch groceries). Today, they expect me to pay for her busted SUV bug shield. Nice!
They'll get something out of me, though ... some very selective choice words. And all those words have exactly four letters. I'm running them through a programming parsing routine just to ensure the alpha-count. Feel free to input some of your own.
