Not true. You made that one up! Remember I used the qualifier "rightly or wrongly". Read my post again. Despite Sumners was not liberal enough as a university administrator, the fact remains he is a Democrat. Right? It seems to me using the fact that he was not being liberal enough in his work was a very convenient and useful excuse for those who ousted him, be they visible or "invisible". .
