If there is a shiaa/sunni war coming in iraq it will spread into iran and saudi arabia where they have a large shiaa minority who works the oil fields i believe. Could todays attack on the oil fields in eastern SA be Shiaa rather than al quaeda and thus be a result of the civil unrest in iraq? And if one really wants to be cynical, could iran have been involved in the bombing of the mosque to create this chaos on the ground for their own interests. Watch the price of oil if the attack is successful or shiaa act up in SA. Watch iranian influence grow in iraq if there is civil war as they carve out their protectorate. For the US, job 1 now is to help secure the oil fields in SA.
