I am afraid you have mis-understood. You declared your position to be upholding the same standards for all regardless of political affiliation.

Is that your position or is it not.

The circumstances of each event are fairly straightforward. There were members present in both parties, and related situations, who have provided information. There is some lingering doubt about the ethics of the actors; which may or may not be based on political affiliation.

It is a fact that every reasonable effort to help the gun shot victim were enacted. There is some doubt (for some people) as to whether Chenney has owned up entirely.

Many of the facts in the drowning case are available and the degree of doubt regarding Kennedy's culpability is quite astounding not just from right wing extremists but from the perception of reasonable people of all affiliations.

In the context of ethical standards, most people from the left and the right agree, Kennedy comes up lacking. I was simply responding to your assertion that YOU hold everyone to the same standards. I await your comments regarding Kennedy.
